The Strawberry Festival is a family-fun community event in Durham, NC. It's held the first Saturday in May at Old North Durham Park, hosted by Central Park School for Children in North Durham Park at 724 Foster Street, Downtown Durham. Mark your calendar for May 2019! Since 2005, we've been chopping berries, painting signs, spearing juicy lemons with spicy peppermint sticks, enjoying fantastic local artists, and creating a strawberry-filled day each year where everyone can be a kid again.

All funds raised at The Strawberry Festival support Central Park School for Children's Monarch Fund, which cultivates paths of access for students at our school. It supports offerings of transportation, nutrition, after-school care, club/camp/field trip scholarships, and technology equipment.
