Support CPSC

It takes all kinds of support to maintain and enhance the high quality, well-rounded education we provide for students. Whether you’re a CPSC parent or a community member, we welcome your support.

Financial Support and Donations

As a public charter school, CPSC is funded by federal, state, and local taxes, but charter schools receive less funding per student than traditional public schools. Our Sunshine Fund supplements this funding to help us provide exceptional teachers, a rich curriculum, and welcoming facilities.

Donate now through PayPal* or learn more about the Sunshine Fund.

In addition to time and financial support, CPSC welcomes donations of supplies that can be used in the classrooms, for after school programs, on the playground, or in administrative offices. Ask Paula or your child’s teacher what you can contribute.

Volunteering

CPSC values parent participation and feels that active involvement in your child’s education benefits both your child and the school. With this in mind, we ask each family for at least four hours of volunteer service to CPSC per month. Learn more about opportunities to get involved.

Fundraising Events

From literacy events to the annual Strawberry Festival, CPSC brings families and the Durham community together for creative, entertaining fundraising events throughout the year. Learn more about these events.

Shop & Earn

Do you shop at Target, Harris Teeter, or Office Depot?  Sign up for free with the customer loyalty programs at these stores to effortlessly earn money for CPSC.

CPSC also collects “Box Tops for Education” from selected products made by Betty Crocker, Ziploc, Avery, Pillsbury and more.  Each Box Top earns our school 10 cents, so the money adds up quickly!
